02 · A separate optional practice arrangement

Be the therapist you want to be.
Let us take care of the business behind it.

Love being a therapist, but have no interest in the costs and demands of running an NDIS registered practice? Focus on your clients with reliable Friday payments, less unpaid administration and an established team around you.

Bring your clinical expertise to NE’s established registered provider service. We organise agreed intake, bookings, invoicing, claiming and provider administration around your work, freeing you to focus on the people you support.

Your name, client relationships and clinical judgement remain central. You are identified as the treating therapist, with NE clearly identified as the registered provider for the agreed services.

No joining or onboarding fee. NE provides the FREE 2B ME Practitioner Pathway training as part of the arrangement.

What this gives you

More time for your clients. Less work running a practice.

Reliable income

Get paid every Friday.

NE pays you every Friday for the previous Friday to Thursday, whether or not the plan manager has paid us yet. We handle the payment follow-up.

Time back

Spend fewer hours on unpaid administration.

We organise agreed intake, bookings, invoicing, claims and payment follow-up. That gives you more room for clinical work, a smaller working week or life outside work.

Illustrative estimate: 25 minutes of administration per one-hour appointment adds up to about 383 hours across 20 appointments a week for 46 weeks. Actual time saved depends on the tasks NE takes on. Your clinical notes and reports remain your responsibility.

An established provider

Avoid building a registered practice from scratch.

Deliver agreed services through NE’s registration, practice systems and provider processes. NE manages its provider audits, registration administration and agreed practice software, so you do not have to set up and run a separate registered provider for this work.

You still maintain your own professional credentials, insurance and clinical responsibilities.

NE holds 0128 Therapeutic supports and 0110 Specialist positive behaviour support. Agreed services must be within NE’s registration and your professional scope for eligible NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self-managed participants. NDIA-managed supports must be delivered by registered providers, so working through NE opens access to eligible participants whose funding is managed by the NDIA.

Professional connection

Have a team around you.

Join NE’s reflective practice, peer network and wellbeing programme, with shared expectations for neuroaffirming, interest-based practice. Your wellbeing belongs in the way you work.

You arrange your own discipline-specific supervision. NE’s reflective practice and peer support sit alongside it.

A sustainable workload

Shape a working week you can sustain.

Discuss your preferred hours and clinical focus. Where appropriate, you can delegate agreed work to NE’s therapy assistants, with clear scope, supervision and funding agreed with the participant.

Practitioner development

Training to uphold NE’s standard of practice.

NE provides the FREE 2B ME Practitioner Pathway training. You are expected to complete the learning relevant to your role and apply it in your work, upholding the high standard of neuroaffirming practice NE is known for.

Supported application, reflection and feedback help turn the learning into consistent practice. The pathway sits alongside your professional qualifications and discipline-specific supervision.

Your clinical work

Keep your professional identity and judgement.

You remain the named treating therapist, bringing your expertise and client relationships. NE is clearly identified as the registered provider for the agreed services and organises the business support around your work.

The practical details

Premises and fee arrangements

There is no setup, joining or onboarding fee. Practitioner Pathway training is provided as part of the arrangement. The agreed allocation is 70% to the practitioner and 30% to NE. Both premises options include the agreed administration and provider systems. Where NE supplies premises, our 30% includes the agreed session space.

NE provides the agreed session premises70%30%

The 70% practitioner allocation includes any superannuation NE is legally required to pay. Where NE has a super obligation, that allocation is divided into the cash fee and the required contribution paid to the practitioner’s super fund. The cash payment is therefore lower than 70% in that case. The legal engagement and contracting entity determine who must pay super; an ABN alone does not remove NE’s obligations. Your written engagement confirms the treatment, premises access, cancellations, travel, reporting and GST.

See Australian Government guidance on contractor superannuation.

A clear and respectful exit

Notice and client continuity

At least 30 calendar days’ written notice from either party. A different period can be agreed in writing. Urgent safety, legal or professional-registration concerns may require immediate suspension or termination. We plan handover and continuity of care together.

Clients you brought into NE: clients you personally introduced may transition with you if they choose. Their source is agreed and recorded at intake.

Clients introduced by NE: these clients remain with NE. You must not solicit or arrange to transfer them as part of your departure. Neither party may pressure clients or use confidential client information to solicit them. No client transfers automatically, and a participant’s independent choice of provider is respected.

Records: NE retains the service records it must hold as the registered provider. Relevant information is shared through an authorised process, with participant consent and privacy requirements respected.
